My Legal Philosophy — a Philosophy of Care
At the Patrick E. Knie law Offices, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, my clients are of the utmost importance to me. I treat them as I would like to be treated, so I am careful to listen to the challenges they face in areas of law that include workers' compensation, Social Security disability, personal injury, medical malpractice and class actions. After we have worked through an effective legal solution to a problem, there is nothing more rewarding than receiving a "thank you" from a satisfied client.
That is why I have chosen not to represent large corporations, insurance companies, creditors and employers. Though I have the deepest respect for those in the medical profession, I have no hesitation taking on medical malpractice cases when I believe the case is meritorious.
Over the years I have invested heavily in the latest technology to compete effectively with large law firms. I use the latest research software that gives me access to current cases and laws as they change. I am also fortunate to have an experienced and helpful support staff that makes sure my clients receive only the best quality of care.
When You Are Considering Legal Help
When a problem affects your life — when that problem becomes so big that legal action is necessary — there are certain things you should consider. Consider the reputation of the attorney with which you consult. Is he or she well respected by other attorneys in your area? Has the attorney handled cases like yours? And does he or she have the time to work closely with you, making sure you are taken care of from the moment you file your claim until everything is resolved?
At Patrick E. Knie Law Offices, I have been practicing law in the Spartanburg area for over 30 years. My clients are very important to me, and I try to treat them as I would like to be treated. I am careful to listen and to communicate with you every step of the way.
Can I Afford the Cost of an Attorney?
Many people are concerned about the costs of a lawyer in their personal injury, workers' compensation or Social Security disability case. They are already facing the challenges of mounting medical bills and it can seem like paying one more bill would be impossible.
At the Patrick E. Knie Law Offices, I try to make things easier for my clients. I never charge a fee for consultations and case evaluations. In fact, there is no fee charged until there has been a recovery — either a favorable jury verdict, needed benefits or a settlement — in a case.
